I echo everything Philip has already said, we were a fantastic team at that time and John was one of our star players. I went into partnership with him as a greyhound owner in 1988 and the fun and laughs we had are unforgettable. I also met some special people through John none more so than his Dad who I shared many happy times with at functions in Edinburgh and he often kept John and I on the straight and narrow. I can't imagine how much he will now be missed by those still closest to him and my thoughts are with you all at this time. I am so sad that he has left you all so young but I am also happy to have shared a part of my life with him. Rest easy my auld pal, Paul
